Early in my childhood, my parents taught my brother and I the words of Shirley Chisholm, "service is the rent we pay for living on this earth".  It is not what we do in our spare time, it is the very purpose of life.

PRETTY GIRLS VOTE is an on-going, nonpartisan,  social media campaign established for the sole purpose of educating women (specifically women of color) on local and national legislation that effects them and their families.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a historically African American, Greek-lettered sorority. Founded on Jan 13, 1913 by 22 college-educated women dedicated to scholarship, service, and sisterhood.

Healthier Neighbors is a multi-year, resident-driven behavioral health initiative that takes a 'place-based' funding approach to solving the area's most complex health issues, neighborhood by neighborhood. 

Dedicated to the mission to promote our members' businesses through marketing, advocacy, mentoring, education, networking,  information- and resource-sharing.

AHA is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke.

A curated conversation at various locations throughout the community, featuring the Emmy award-winning, 4-part miniseries created, co-written, and directed by Ava DuVernay.
