hey.... it's me!!

My name is Leontyne Brown, a 2-time Effie award-winning marketing executive with a proven track record of achievement in Integrated Marketing & Communications for many of the world’s most recognizable brands, including the Truth Anti-Tobacco Campaign, Coca Cola, Honey Nut Cheerios, Toyota USA, Ralph Lauren, and Nike.  I am also honored to have served as the first Black and female Director of Advertising for Nike's Jordan Brand.

Today, I am the Founder and Managing Partner of a boutique agency, that combines consumer brand marketing and communications with social justice advocacy. Our client roster includes, CVS, Ralph Lauren, Porsche, and of course both Nike and the Jordan Brand.  In addition to a successful marketing consultancy, I have the opportunity to use my voice to explore issues of race, politics and culture and turn dialogue into structured and strategic action. In 2014, I launched “Pretty Girls VOTE”, a social media platform used to engage and educate voters on local, state, and national issues.

Locally, I am  very active in the community and serve on the Executive Board of the Black Chamber of Commerce - PBC, The League of Women Voters, Women’s Chamber of PBC, Women’s Foundation Professional Development Committee and Racial Justice Impact Committee, The My Brother’s Keeper Alliance of PBC, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  In 2020, I was appointed to the PBC Commission on the Status of Women, American Heart Association Health Equity Council, the PBC Organizing Against Racism Committee, and the WPB Mayor's Task Force for Racial and Ethnic Equality. Previously, I served on the PBC Penny Sales Tax Advisory Commission.

I am proud graduate of Florida A&M University, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Consumer Psychology (with a minor in Business Administration) and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology (with a minor in Cultural Anthropology). Over the past year, I have received a Professional Certificate in Inclusion and Diversity from Cornell University, as well as training from the Racial Equity Institution and the Everyday Democracy Institute.
